Edmunds expecting BRZ MSRP at $25,300

http://www.edmunds.com/subaru/brz/20...b=coupe&ps=new

They also have the FRS at $24,995.

Wonder how close these will be to the real MSRP. Can't wait til end of Nov.

Still feels a bit too high, :/ I might as well get a WRX at that price...

Note, I'm not trying to incite the whole RWD vs AWD and other shabangs but the starting price for the WRX is 25,495 :/

Also I can't get the links to display a price for me.

There is something strange about the info edmund is giving us.

The Subaru BRZ's Target launch date is spring 2012. FRS is Winter 2012. Now.. if I remember correctly.. the FRS was suppose to be released before the BRZ no?

I also don't see the price you said either. Did they take it off knowing you put this info up? O:

Winter could mean the first 3 months of 2012.

Price shown right under the picture. Says "MSRP from....."

SHINCHU86 10-26-2011 10:31 AM

if thats correct i think i could get my payment down to about $250/mo? NICE!!!!
cant wait to see how these things look at SEMA!

SUB-FT86 10-26-2011 10:49 AM

Those prices are terrible for this car unless the price is with lots of features or a 2.5l 240hp/189 tq engine.

I don't see it in the main page, but it shows up in the "recently viewed" on the side. I'd be ok with $25,300. If the VIP program is available, it would probably end up being around $24,000 (invoice is usually ~$1000 below MSRP, VIP is 2% below invoice).

Cons

Not Available

at least I can agree with them about that

Go to Edmunds, new cars, Subaru and it should be there. I am on my iPad so maybe that is making things act a little different?

Yeah with invoice it should be 1000-1200 below MSRP then take another 2% off that. Depending how it is specd from the factory with options, I would be happy with that.

Of course not.

They are revealing the final car/body at TAS. Period. It won't make a public appearance anywhere before that (at least not on purpose).

Neutral_Eyes 10-26-2011 01:44 PM

We should know for sure soon enough. Still, if that's the base price, they've missed the mark.

Part of it could be the strong yen and the crappy dollar.
