Need ideas for black stripes!

There's a local shop in my area that specialises in vinyl wraps so I'm thinking of getting something done on my car.

They're very good at what they do and can pretty much do anything with any given image.

I saw these one a while back if you want a racing stripe to be a bit offset from center. Or you can have a stripe running straight from the fender vent parallel to the window.

Just found this one on google. Not a stripe...but pretty cool.

I had a similar issue with stripes. Decided to just do whatever I wanted. But now it's toned down a bit more as it's a company car.

Please don't post on a thread where someone is asking for advice or an opinion if you're just going to put them down because their vision of styling their car differs from yours; that is the purpose of a forum like this, yes? To generate ideas, get support, get to see what other people are doing to their car, etc?

I don't understand why people like you bother clicking on a thread if your only intent is to leave some snide or snarky comment - was that energy really put to good use? If you disagree with their choice, and think they can benefit from a contradicting opinion, then maybe engage in discussion as per the definition of a forum? Ask what they're looking to achieve, or what is motivating them to do it, and point out where their view might fall short instead of throwing some overbearing closed-ended statement at them? I feel like less and less people bother posting, or reaching out to others on this forum because of BS like that.

Anyway. OP - I'm not partial to racing stripes, but I have seen them done well before where they look good, or interesting. I think it depends a lot on the color of your car and the color of striping you plan to have done. I think this image (below - looks similar to the first image you've posted) shows hood stripes that have been done well IMO. Also, I think if you can have them painted it'll look a lot better than if it is done with vinyl which has a matte finish and will reflect the light differently from the paint on the body, but I'm not sure how much more expensive that would be, or if that is something concerning to you at all.
