Which one is the solenoid? Are you referring to a boost control solenoid included in one of those turbo kits?
Everything you need to know is in this thread. I explained my process as best I could. It's as simple as it can be. If you have huge hands, bribe your little buddy to help out.

i took care of this on sat. wasnt hard at all. if you want to remove the solenoid completely you dont "have" to take off the manifold. theres one 10mm bolt holding the solenoid on the back of the manifold. its just a bitch to unclip it and cap the port under the tb.

Do you have cooling upgrades and has your car seen the track or just street?

No cooling upgrades and it has been driven hard on mostly streets. It does not get driven like a grandpa hardly. Looking into the DIY Forrester oil cooler soon.

Plenty of N/A cars have experienced coil failure as well. Most often the #1 coil (P0351) in cars that are driven hard and/or tracked.

There's an ongoing thread here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30879

I've got a box of 100 that I bought.

I'm sure this can be arranged.

Your shipping costs would be more expensive than the clamps to Canada.

What kind of symptoms show up if the hose is popped off? I'm having this issue where at idle if I give it some gas lets say enough to bring the rpm up to 3000rpm and let off the gas pedal, I see the rpm drop close to 500rpm and almost stall the car and jump back to 900rpm. Sometimes it does stall it if I rev high enough and then let off the gas pedal.

An idle that rhythmically undulates is a good sign that a hose popped off.
