Cosmis Racing MRII 18x8.5 +22
I Got my BC Racing coilovers on Friday and threw them on with the new Cosmis Racing USA MRII's. Extremely happy with the fitment. Offset is perfect, no spacers needed! I am running 18x8.5 +22 all around, and 215/40 tires as well.
I currently only have Iphone pictures but I just did a shoot with Lowered Lifestyle so I will have quality photo's once they post the feature! |

Are the backs of the wheels spacer friendly? Or is the surface that comes in contact w/ the hub flat w/ no holes?

If you plan on running these on a stock body FRS/BRZ you wont need spacers. I am running -2 front and -3 rear degree's of camber to fit with no rubbing. |

Curious, how much of a drop would you say you currently have? Would you say its less then 2in?

To answer this question. The back of the wheel is flat and will not accommodate a bolt on spacer that is less than 25mm.

Bump for question:
I am sooo close to purchasing these wheels, and have just done a ton of research on wheel offset, etc. I was concerned that the +22 offset would be too far outboard, thus potentially harmful to the wheel bearings and steering system. Furthermore, research is suggesting that this will have a negative effect on handling. Can someone tell me if there is any truth to these statements? Has anyone who installed these wheels experienced these problems? FYI I will be running Apexi N1 coils, 1" drop, 18x8.5 +22 offset Cosmis MRII.

I ran them with tein S tech springs and the natural camber associated with a 1.5" drop on stock shocks. I had some poke in the front and was flush in the rears running a stretched 225/45 tire.
As far as wear on wheel bearings, I did not have the setup long enough to say for sure. In general, a wider track width can wear out wheel bearings much faster. Handling is dependent on tire and camber/caster. With the track width wider the car does not get as loose in the rear. These wheels are really looks only and not a performance setup. If you want performance get a set of enkei rpf1 17x9 +35 and some sticky 245/255 tires.
