You don't like guns, good for you now mind your own effing business and leave the thread you have no business in.
Tell the guy who decided to quote me from weeks back. I answered his question as well as replied to his inaccurate interpretation of context, nothing else. But yeah point your gun at me anyway, nothing new here.

It seems to be a trait for people to become emotionally unstable and lash out over some unwarranted reasons.

No wonder people think they need to carry guns, I don't feel safe when the majority of the population are riddled with stupid, immature and irrational individuals carrying guns.

With all those stupid immature and irrational individuals carrying guns out there what defense would you have against them without a gun ?

But that situation is generally not the case as LEGAL carriers are strictly examined, trained, licensed, and rarely misbehave.

The stupid immature etc. you are referring to are the criminals. They ALWAYS misbehave.

I hope you don't have a floor jack.. because according to your logic, that would make you paranoid that your car was going to break. All day every day you go around dreading that you are gonna have to use that jack, and hoping it is right where you left it.. sounds dumb because it is.
a gun is a tool like any other. You buy it for when you need it. Those of us who have and carry our guns, don't think twice about having it with us. We pick it up like our keys, wallet, cellphone. We feel secure, not because we have a gun, but because we are the type of people who take responsibility for ourselves and those that depend on us. We plan ahead and try to be prepared in times of need, and that allows us to not fret about what might happen, because we have already done as much as we can to prepare for it.
If you drag race you may go your whole life without ever using that fire extinguisher you keep up to date, but the stakes are too damn high to not have it for that one time when you need it, that doesn't make you paranoid, that makes your prepared.

Freedom for an anti to express their views is just as important as the freedom of self defence.

Banning free speech is Fascism of the worst kind.

I understand that. I am simply asking them to take their freedom of speech to another thread. One that is dedicated to talking about gun rights and opinions of them (rather than hijacking this thread). I would happily join the discussion at that time.

I am all for freedom of speech, it is just annoying to me to come here to look for mods to keep my gun in my car only to find political/sociological opinions where they detract from the actual conversation.

Related: My comptac body just shipped yesterday should have it by the end of the week. Since it is summer vacation for me I can get started modding my car again!

But they don't have the right to butt into a thread like this one, where the discussion is how to carry not if he should. It's trolling.

It'd be like someone starting a thread in the "other vehicles" subforum asking "what Honda should I get" and some troll insisting "what do you need a Honda for? Get a WRX!", except worse.

On phone I am. Therefore, if mistakes I make, Frank Oz blame you should.

Valid point, swatting flies and mosquito's is a nuisance.
This thread is obviously for pro civil rights people and the anti's jump in uninvited, BUT -
it is so much fun swatting them - exposing them for what they are - uneducated, sexually and emotionally immature trolls.

Their freedom of speech is there own worst enemy.

You want to unite by banning other gun owners? Good job there short bus on supporting s2d4's point. You should ban yourself from a keyboard. How ironic is it that you're now trolling the thread too?

Fratricide doesn't help us one bit. No banning on either side.

Hey, dont know if anyone has chimed in on this yet. (Didn't feel like reading through the 2nd Ammendment BS)

That holster pictured in your original post is not the answer for the twins. I have that same holster that I used in my FJ Cruiser. I found it to be very flimsy and very hard to get snug against the dash. It also moved back and forth while turning too much for my taste. Espescially if you have a firearm with a little bit of weight to it. I tried it in the FRS but if you need to quickly draw for any reason, the angle to get to it would be very awkward. In my twin, I snug mine between the seat and center console while I am driving, but it's carried on me whenever I'm out of the vehicle so that doesn't really solve your problem of security while you are not there.

i personally think guns are retarded, but i am not going to judge someone for having one to protect their home. i just wouldnt have one myself. in some states it is legal to carry and what not, in ca here it is way different. but in my opinion (which i am entitled to have) this is a car forum not a gun forum. everyone should chill and drive. if you like guns then like guns...if you dont then dont. but if anyone wants to troll gtfo. thats all

that's the thing, it was a specific question to how to deal with a firearm in this particular car. So in my opinion it was a valid questions and most of the responses, sent this spinning wildly off topic.
