No, it's not that they don't like you, it's that they just don't respond to anyone.

Did you already place an order with them? If so, you'll probably get your order. You just won't know exactly when.

flossy seems to be hit and miss. I had a great experience, but I seem to be in the minority.

When I had flossy knobs, I got both in a reasonable amount of time. But the 2nd time, it took 2 weeks for something that should have been in stock to even be shipped to me (white flossy grip rod with no fancy markings), but when I ordered the STI grip tape with 6spd pattern knob, it arrived within a few days.

They didn't respond to emails about the grip rod when I had inquired a week after the order as to an update as to my order's status.

Now, let's compare that to the LONG wait I had with Derek at Anarchy Motive. Sure that knob for my BRZ took almost 2 months. However, whenever I'd email him with a request for order status, he got back to me that day (usually within an hour). When there was a delay in fabrication from wclathewerks, Kris (sp?) got back to me within a few hours after I sent an email request for status.

Customer feedback was WAY more important to me. With Derek and Kris, even a long wait was tolerable b/c communication was kept. With Flossy, I was getting severely annoyed after only 2 weeks b/c of ZERO communication from them as to why a quick order was taking so darn long.

I ordered my knob in February, returned it because I purchased the heavyweight instead of the shorty, and have yet to receive my knob. I've gotten two replies, one in march saying they ran out, and that there was a slight delay. Fast forward two more months without a reply, and I still have yet to receive my knob. I have no clue what is going on.

i'm sad that i won't have it engraved but i'm thinking i can take it somewhere local here and have it done if i really really want to do it

derek said 2 weeks until it's shipped.......and i read some of his posts, and he seems nice, and i feel comfortable ordering from him
we'll see.......hopefully my feelings are not wrong

When I ordered, the freak winter storms in the east hit and that's what delayed my order from getting to me, b/c of winter weather and the knobs being at the powder coaters, etc.

I found this out b/c that's the kind of info derek gave me when I would (about once a week) shoot him an email asking for status.

Yeah, I've had mine almost as long as I've had my FRS, but experience (well other people's experience) tells me not to reccoment him. He's a really nice guy (I met him in person), but it's hard to refer someone who doesn't come through

You're talking about Flossy there, right?

I must've been one of the lucky ones... If you really wanted a flossy knob, you could've tried ordering it (using paypal) then email them with all your questions and engraving requests, etc. If they continued ignoring you then you could've got your money back easily. But like I said, I had a good experience. Sucks that many of you aren't.
