It'll update to 1.08 when you plug your OFT in

Anyone having trouble updating the OFM?

I keep getting the error message:
Access to the path 'C:\Openflash\OpenFlash Manager.exe' is denied.

No luck still. I tried running OpenFlashManager.exe and Updater.exe with administrator permission. Hopefully the new version gets uploaded to the site.

I just received my ofh and I can't seem to update either, but my problem is the one from before:

I copied my stock tune/file to the OFT. I haven't tried flashing any files yet, I wanted to make sure I had the most up to date ots tunes. I hooked the OFT up to my computer (win 7). downloaded the OpenFlash Manager v1.4, and opened the manager. It starts and connects to my OFT then starts updating, but then it tells me this:

A new software version has been found. Press OK to start installation.

then asks me what program to open it with. I am not sure what to open it with, I tried the openflash manager, no matter what I do when I reopen the manager I get this:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Method not found: 'int32...

I emailed sales@ because I don't know what else to do, software is not my strong suit.

Interesting experience tonight. Took my car back in for 15k service, and in the meantime inquired about the idle drop TSB. I watched them try to flash it for a little over an hour and the software kept coming up with an "unable to communicate with ECU" error. I'm going back in on Monday for them to try and diagnose the issue.

This was their first time trying to flash an FR-S. It could be an issue on their end. I do, though, wonder if it's an issue OFT could have caused -- anyone else done this successfully?
Went back to dealer today, and they spent another two hours figuring it out and had to call Toyota for support, but figure it out they did. I'm now at B01.

OFT newbie: can flash in 5min.
Dealer: can flash in 3hr.

Interestingly, the dealer's flash did not result in the pedal lag we get with OFT.

@shiv@vishnu I did a quick search but i didn't come up with anything. Are there any plans to add an option for the temperatures to be displaying in celsius? And to be able to save more than one log on the OFT at one time?

They probably flashed it in 5 min and spent the other 2h55m test driving it hence no throttle lag

My CAL ID is A00D and the tunes that were auto generated were A01D? Would I need to upload the A00D version and flash that instead?

What are the differences between the CAL IDs?

if the oft uploaded/generated a01d that fine just means the tunes are based on the later a01d calibration not the earlier a00d calibration.

<-- an OFT noob.
So the tune version is the numerical value in the a01d? and any higher number would mean a newer tune..ex: a02d, a03d?
