Here's a shot of my main screen in dashcommand. This theme is a little busy though so I'll show a couple others once I do the full review.

Pandora keeps crashing after a few songs are played like others have noted, I only have it and Waze open, and thought it was happening only when Pandora was in the background, but it happens in the foreground as well, not sure how to fix that. The other issue has to do with lights. The white button lights come on with the headlights, and I noticed that when I get out of the car and lock the door with the door pad the HU lights stay on, just like the Headlights do for a few seconds. But, when the headlights turn off automatically, the HU white lights stay on. This doesn't happen if I hit the lock button on my key fob an extra time which turns the headlights off, and I can also turn the stock from auto to off and back to auto after I turn the car off, but those are things I shouldn't have to worry about. I'm not sure what's keeping those lights on but I don't want it to drain my battery.

It would also be nice if the unit got a bit dimmer at night, at least on apps like Pandora, which are way to bright, I might just download that "night mode" app from the market though.

It's awesome you guys got root though, if you can really reprogram the buttons and default launcher that would be sweet.
Pandora: Does Pandora cache anything locally? Maybe it's trying to cache something and it's running out of space because of the super small partition on the local storage?

Lights: Whoa, I wonder if mine does that...

Pretty sure Pandora uses some cache, but it's pretty small.

Loaded LMT launcher and set it to only activate when I touch center bottom of screen. This allows me access to Recent Apps button.
Loaded other launchers but not worth it since you always end up back at factory launcher.
I did notice that after pressing home you can press back twice and it sends you to Car Home desktop.
You can also group apps.
You can house apps via locked part of settings. Password is 0000

I'm going to do some poking around the file system and see if we can change that.

You're able to do these out of the box with no updates, rooting, etc.

Yes. And I meant hide apps-not house.

A warning: although this is slightly different than software that shipped I wouldn't recommend upgrading unless you have to.
I did notice that the removal of dimming feature some of you had was included in this update.
Theming is a little different too
I am trying to get info from then regarding a repartition of storage. I also raised a flag regarding Android 4.1 being the only version susceptible to Open SSL exploit to hopefully push a kit Kat upgrade!

I'm stoked to hear what's in this new update!

Where did you guys mount your GPS antenna? I stuck it on top of the crossbeam right behind the unit but I'm getting meh signal. I don't really want to have to try to route this thing outside the car.

i've got mine in the same place but not worried about it since my iphone passes gps info to the head unit when connected via hotspot, as does my my verizon mifi if i'm using that instead.

i wish the damn thing would pair to my high refresh rate bluetooth GPS receiver though. 10hz would be great and really allow me to start exploring things like SoloStorm which is great for datalogging and comparing runs at autocrosses.
