been running the appradio 3 da210 in my car for a couple weeks now. loving it more and more everyday.

it's even better now that I've got the appextension installed on my iphone. allows for outside apps to be used.

it works with ios7 but you might have issues for now if you have a iphone 5s.

I'm having Problms with the da210 and ios7? I haven't run my parking wire to anything which I think is the problem. Have you bypassed the parking brake?

Just pick up a single throw or double throw relay out of autozone and google search for a wiring diagram. If you don't find it, I'll be able to check mine in a couple of days and tell you exactly how to wire it. As soon as you turn the key on the radio will switch on and video will be available no matter what. Unless you want the push button switch or p-brake connected. I prefer to bypass it all together.

I bought the microbypass off amazon.com and wired it up. $20 well spent. Don't have to mess with any switches or anything. Just a couple of wires.

Yea just a walk through of the different things you can do with it connected to your phone. I have the Galaxy S3. I'm holding out for the S5 which comes out in april 2014 I believe. It may run android, but supposedly Samsung has an OS they are working on that might be running it instead. TIZEN OS. Something like that.

But I have the money saved up I needed for a car stereo. Now I just have to find WHAT I want to put in there. And I havent made up my mind. If I cant find THE RIGHT, PERFECT set up then I'm just going to keep saving until I do. Sounds crazy, but I don't want to waste money on something that isn't going to do EXACTLY what I want it to do.

Same with the Turbo. I have the money for that too, been saving towards that as well. I just don't know if I want to do Turbo or SC, or which brand of either one to go with for that matter. Really leaning towards the FBM Turbo.

As for car stereo, I'm going to steal some ideas from the Electronics thread and come up with the overall build.

So yes, a video would be nice, if you can make one. No rush on it, just whenever you get a chance.

Thanks for the info btw.

Search crutchfield. Will come free with wire harness if you purchase the radio from them.

Question to an owner of Appradio 3: If you have your Android rooted phone plugged in (no unlock code) prior to starting the car, do you still have to unlock the phone to access the apps and mirror the phone? I'm thinking of rooting my old Galaxy S2 and have it sitting in the car all the time hidden in the glove compartment. So I can install nav on it and just use it whenever I want. BUT I don't want to have to unlock it every time I get to the car. Would that plan work? lol Or do you have to unlock the phone and start the up every single time?
