So I was having an issue with my car that I thought was tune related. Even after the newest delicious tune (8.58) it still had a nasty jerkiness around 3-4k while rolling onto the gas a bit.
Turns out, it wasn't the tune, but was the bypass valve on the back of the supercharger. When installing I had accidentally put a small hole in the L shaped rubber connector that connects the clear plastic tube from the bypass valve to charger.
I sealed the hole I created at the time with superglue and didn't think anything else about it, but obviously that didn't work. Put some RTV sealant on the other day and now the car is running like it should have been in the first place!
My apologies to @DeliciousTuning for thinking it was tune related. By the way, the new tune is amazing. Thanks again Bill for putting up with my impatient ass

I don't have a "premium" header, but I'm making 254whp (around 292 crank hp) with the 70mm, intercooler, 93 octane, Rev Works header, perrin OP FP and 3"CB. Also running the airaid intake with a nameless ceramic coated intake pipe.

You're the man. I was already in bed at that point so I'm going to wait for my lunch break in a few hours to flash it. Can't wait. Thanks again!

Same thing happened to me. Zach told me I'd have it by a certain day, I emailed when I realized how late it would be there and told him not to bother, it could wait and wasn't worth them staying back late for. Zach replied saying they had promised a certain day and that day it shall be. Sure enough, late that night the tune was emailed to me. That kind of dedication and loyalty to both his word and his customers is invaluable in a business like Bill's. I'm sure there's other great tuners out there, maybe even ones that can match Bill's skills, but why on earth would anyone try to find out?

Will do.

Edit: wow, this guy is FAST, ran into an issue and had a phone call within 10 minutes. Very impressed.

Looks like you've got some nice blow by issues. You should invest in a catch can setup.

I've been having an issue similar to what @CK_Bladesmith claims he had. Sputtering around the 4k rpm range. I think I found the culprit. Using a can of starter fluid I noticed rpm fluctuations when I sprayed the intake "plenum" portion of the supercharger where it bolts to the blower (the part that the vacuum ports screw into - use pic for reference). Anyway, that aside, I have 2 questions, one is does anyone know the torque specs for the 6 bolts that hold it onto the blower? Also when I pulled the bolts out to inspect the o-ring, I noticed quite a bit of oil buildup. I do not have a catch can yet, but the amount of oil buildup in there seems a bit much after just a couple hundred miles of driving. I don't think I've even hit 500 yet, maybe just. I guess my question is, based on the picture, does that seem an acceptable amount of oil for such little driving?

Thankfully our engines are port and direct injected, so the port injectors should keep your valves clean of any oil buildup that could cause coking on the valves. You definitely need to invest in a catch can setup of some kind.

If you are looking for an afordable good catch can check this out.

I added part of a copper scrubber that you can get at a grocery store to help collect the suspended oil. Radium uses similar stuff on the S2000 can. All the oil falls into the cup and can be checked with the dip stick. I am not saying radium doesn't make an awesome product but I would rather spend $200 bucks on a track day and some fuel. You could even mount two side by side similar to how the post quoted did. I would buy two sealing washers and an o ring for the dipstick.

If you want an easy install and are willing to pay for it by all means radium is the way to go.

I left the cheap clear tube on the outlet so I could see if any oil was getting past the can.. It's actually really clean.. Cleaner than I thought it would be..

ADD W1 from eBay. I think it was $80 shipped. Us seller. Built VERY well. I would say it is VERY comparable to the radium catch can. One issue. They don't provide sealing washers for the nipples. They do give you 2-9mm and 2-15mm so it is perfect for our application. Buy a couple sealing washers from McMaster and you are golden. I opted to put the provided O ring on the OD of the canister threads because I believe it will seal better. I also put a small O ring on the dip stick.

I added a little extra baffling as well. I think radium uses a screen but this will do the same thing. Don't add too much because you don't want to restrict flow. Just something extra for the oil to stick to.

^^ Thats the can I run as well. It's awesome, especially for $80-$90.

Funny because I was worried about oil buildup as well after pulling the back of my charger elbow off. I purchased a radium can, and even when pulling the lines off to install it they had oil in them. I've checked the can twice now and not a drop of oil is in it.

I don't really get into the throttle that much, but I would have thought something was built up in there Guess thats a good thing.

Finally got the airaid box in, just figured i'd share. I may just paint the cover black, the other cover they provide thats dark is not black and looks weird so I polished it up quick to match the pipe. Still needs to be polished a bit more.
