Correct, so something is definitely wonky... unless the battery current is not reading correctly and the battery is dropping that low but somehow managing to turn the engine

Hmmm. But you hit a good point maybe something is drawing current away from the spark plugs. Maybe a grounding issue that only occurs when the car is started?

I think the battery voltage was reading low because it was really depleted and I was using
a booster. After I charged it the same test read 14 volts. Anyway it's back in the shop and I will be giving away an oil filter to the first person who guesses the correct problem.

I am torn between clogged fuel filter, and bad gas. Or if you ran E85 a rotted/ruptured in tank fuel line.

I guess I'll go with filter.

unless I can say "electronics" and it only counts as one guess

good luck with the shop

Don't feed the troll.

You can turbo charge any vehicle and make it fast. Their is nothing special about a Camry.

well.. a Camry would make a great sleeper car.. it's big, heavy , makes about 70hp per liter and its made for moms to get grocery's with.
no ones going to suspect that you are racing them so you'll get the hole shot.. lol

oh, and I have to say probably a bad MAP sensor also.
