2015 WRX headers

I just found out that the 2015 WRX has the FA20 DIT in it... which begs the question of which 2015 WRX parts are interchangeable with the FRS/BRZ.

Are 2015 WRX OEM headers worth swapping onto our cars? Are aftermarket headers between the two basically interchangeable?

what bout crankshafts, rods, etc..? pistons are probably different due to differing injector spray patterns, right? (I'm completely new to all this).

A lot depends on where the turbo is located exactly. The Forrester is also fa20dit but we couldn't use much because of the turbo location. Some avo kit guys where trying to get the oem oil scavenger pump from that car though. What could be nice would be if it has a factory oil cooler that people start replacing. Just like the Forrester. Also I believe all the internals are the same minus the pistons. I was hoping for better valve springs but well see.

'15 WRX's "overpipe" is on the other side of the vehicle. Lurk around Racecomp's facebook page and you'd find the underbody shots.

Yup, I figured it would be something stupid like that. Maybe it will have a beefier transmission.

Chances are very likely that our stock exhaust manifold is WAY better than the WRX one, past Subaru turbo manifolds leave A LOT of power on the table, while ours is actually pretty good for an OEM piece.

As for the transmission, even if it is stronger it's useless to us unless you're planning an AWD swap (which won't work)

Even if you convert it to RWD only, the size of it would put the engine like a foot further forward than it currently is, plus add a bunch of weight.

If you're going to bother trying that, you're better off with a properly strong RWD gearbox.

It has an oil cooler and it looks exactly like the Forester one.
