happy to report that after installing the relay from @Diode Dynamics the freezing is gone and I can enjoy my switchbacks again. thank you again everyone for your help! p.s. that relay is such a pita to install.

not compared to other things... the relay was my 2nd easiest mod... 1st was the tails...

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I seem to have the same problem. Signal freezes when i Use the right turn signal. I got the TOMs tail lights too and relay that TOM's was included with.
So the diode dynamic flasher CF18 (LM449) should solve the problem? |

Its the Tom's relay, they are notorious for faulting out after a few months.
