Perfect BRZ STi:

- Slightly widened body, with more aggressive front arches to emphasize its muscular lines

- stronger internals, 30hp increase with STi performance exhaust

- stiffer shocks & springs, improved dynamics if that can be achieved (ie some form of tweaked/reworked suspension)?

- front lip, skirt, rear diffuser

- STi interior (ie sportier interior with STi stitching on seats)

That is all.

25% increase of enjoyment in all senses. Power, handling, and the general theme of this car. (Fun!)

15% increase in price. I.E. the limited version is $30,000, let the STI be $34,500.

<0% increase of reliability.

My thoughts...

Keep it NA. 230-240 hp.

Changes to intake/exhaust/ecu should be retrofittable to current model.

A real dual-clutch tranny with paddle shifters.

300GT Body kit
30-40 more hp (240 sounds nice)... NA/SC/Turbo... doesnt matter
A strong transmission (we still dont know how strong the clutch/tranny are. The 6sp in the STI was great)
Recaros
Gold forged BBSes. WRB/gold style
A decent looking/performing rear spoiler
Maybe roof vane spoilers
A couple lbs lighter, if possible.

No idea. But as the car will do autocross duty, stiffer from the factory would be better. Stiff enough to keep the front outside tire flat under the hardest cornering.

the car seems plenty flat and by all accounts the suspension is relatively stiff. there isnt going to be a car that ever comes with springs stiff enough to keep the tire flat under the hardest cornering in a stock autox class

The stock hp/torque is 200/150, ish... and the car is already VERY light. A mild bump in hp and a big bump in torque would be good. It doesn't need to be tremendous, but I'd like a 0-60 time around 4.5, mostly because if I ever want to track it having a lot of speed to storm out of a corner is a nice thing to have.

Replace the skinny tires and give it a WRX style widebody kit and lower the suspension.

Racing brakes, 6mt with heavy duty racing clutch.

My ideal BRZ STi would be one that is STX prepped, no need to touch it. Oh and a front lip. I like lips.

No doubt huh. I still think this is one of the biggest mistakes they made from concept to production.

Definitely. It's a little Camaro-ish, but it looks better than the Altezzas they gave us.

Upgraded wheels, stiffer suspension and a turbo. Around 270HP and price tag around $32K. I like the rest of the car so different interior and exterior components don't interest me much.
