I enjoy PVP shooters a lot. I've been playing Counter-Strike since the beginning of time and still play Halo:Reach. Titanfall has a good concept and elements but overall I feel like it's a complete ADD clusterfuck. They're trying to do 10 things at once and it's not working. This is the first shooter in a while where every game mode and round I've played feels the exact same because there's no strategy. The game is too raw and could be polished in which I do see them doing in a second title release. More guns would be a huge plus as well as more titan options.

Maybe I'll give Titanfall 2 a shot in the future, but as for now I'm not impressed regardless of its sales numbers.

Back to Titanfall, it's some of the most fun and action-packed gaming I've had in a long time. Everything done in that game is satisfying and exciting. Everything is so fluid and easy to do and everything looks amazing doing it. As someone who has religiously played Call of Duty for almost a decade, since CoD2 launched with 360, I can say I haven't touched Ghosts since 3/11/14.

Having said that... let's see what Spacy brings to the next title....! As a big House of Cards fan, I may have to get this just for the campaign! .....And then right back to TF for multiplayer. :P

You can use an Xbox controller for any Game for Windows.

Yeah but then he'd get absolutely bent over and reamed. Also Games for Windows Live is shutting down if it hasn't already.. Either way, most games are now gamepad friendly, whether you have an Xbox 360 (I think One drivers are in the works still) or a PS4 controller.

I don't think Titanfall is a flop or will be. But that still has yet to be determined, really, since we don't know what kind of staying power the game actually has. You can always sell a ton of copies on hype, but if people aren't playing it six months later and buying your DLC you didn't do your job correctly.

Agreed. We will see where it stands months from now. I've already traded my copy in and I'm basically prepping for Destiny. Rebranded Halo FTW!

Thats the problem with the current gen systems. There are no gen 4 games.

That probably has a lot to do with the sales of Titanfall also. People want a new gen game to play on their new gen console.

When/if "The Division" is released, I don't see people who are into muliplayer shooters playing much of anything else.

What do you mean there aren't any "gen 4" games? We have Forza, Dead Rising (arguable I guess), Ryse, Killzone, Infamous, etc..

Gen 4 compared to what, though? To previous consoles? There's a huge leap there already even with cross-generation games. To a PC? A PC will always be faster and have the potential to look as good as your wallets are deep.

Perhaps i should have worded my post differently.Yes those are gen 4 games, but they are less than a handful for systems that have been out for almost half a year.

Of the games you listed for the x box: one, there are no fps games. (unless you want to consider dead rising a fps, i don't). which titanfall filled that void.

After investing some hours into Titanfall, I have actually started enjoying it a lot. Just wish I had more time to invest in it. This is part of the reason why I am not big into multi-player games like these. Do not have the time to invest to get better at. Especially when Steam sales come out

picking up a ps4 just to play EA UFC this summer. could get it on xbone but hate the controller.

All of my gamer friends are on Xbox, so I'll be going with Xbox One. I'm also not very fond of the PS controller.

I haven't played Titanfall in a long time either. Good game, but I'm just not a competitive multiplayer guy and that's all that game offers.

Lately I've been playing...Skyrim (again) on my 360. Even after 260 hours through 2 previous play throughs it's still fresh somehow.

Psh, better to spend hundreds of dollars to have a useful machine for gaming than to be stuck with a console. I'd rather hang myself than play a console. Plus, I can totally build a PC that is better than your console for $199 cuz I am not a n00b console gamer.
