Getting my headers put on today woo! Will post a video later on displaying the results. Hoping it removes most of the torque dip.

I am looking at over $1500 and they haven't even fixed it all yet. Sigh.

Question for those that frequent Jerry's alignment shop. If I show up around 8am tomorrow without an appointment, how long should I expect to wait before I am able to leave? I am trying to judge if I have enough time before I have to be somewhere. Thanks!

If you're in that early and just an alignment? I'd give it an hour... tops.

You don't have adjustable LCA's right? Should be even faster since you're stuck with whatever rear camber comes with the drop. Toe can be adjusted though thankfully.

I am actually pretty happy with where the camber seems to have put itself, I just want to make sure any toe angles get corrected. 1 hour should be plenty of time for me. I guess I will find out tomorrow!

How bad is it that my engine oil smells like gas on my BRZ when I smell the dipstick?

edit: I finally found another thread...http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=784706 there are some other people that had it on their first oil change but then not after that - could be during break in extra fuel makes it past the rings or something.. I'll keep an eye on it in the future after this first oil change and also ask the dealer about it. There are plenty of times I have mentioned something to the dealer, they make a note, and then if in the future it needs warranty work and its a much smoother process because there are notes early in the cars life about it being a potential issue.

I just put all sorts of goodies up for sale in the classifieds.

SPC LCA's, RCE Tarmac 0 coilovers, Enkei RPF1 18X9.5, +38 in SBC wheels w/ centercaps, 6000k high quality DRL's, Amber LED turn signals, stock toe arms, and stock headlights.

Hit me up if any of you guys want them. I can knock a few bucks off for fellow Austin 86'ers.

A number of things... The problem is it wasn't 2000 going in.. It was 800 then 1200 then 1600 and now 2000 and finally today they said no more increases. The first thing was the AC which I know nothing about but once they got in there and fixed one thing they found more.

Essentially a couple pulleys are broken and some shielding/covers were broke by the belt that came off and while they had it open they found a problem with some hydraulic pulley... This is second hand from my wife so she may have relayed some incorrectly to me. The total also includes the normal 125k service and new rear brake pads. A lot is labor as they had to drop the engine to get at some of the broken stuff.

I loved my shop in seattle they knew exactly what I could do myself and would just talk me through some repairs and ask if I felt comfortable or wanted them to do it. I did a bunch of electrical stuff that broke that way something that was a 50 dollar part and 400 in labor they helped me do it myself.
