Poll: Xbox One or PS4

I don't play consoles anymore, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the Xbox One.

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition was on sale this weekend on Live for $29 (in Canada anyway) so I picked it up. Never picked it up on 360/ps3.

Pretty cool so far, really enjoying it.

Yea, it was on sale for the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One as well. However, I had already played it on PC. Very good game. One of the few Tomb Raider games that I was actually able to sit down and enjoy all the way through

If the game comes down to... ~$15 or less, I might pick it up for the PS4/XB1.

Not too surprised by that article. However, in my opinion, there are still quite a few variables missing.

I can tell you that playing FPS games throughout college did not really help me at all with my engineering classes/degree. Neither did racing games. Perhaps I should have played platform, RTS, and RPG games

Side note: Titanfall for Xbox One is actually quite fun. I find it a bit more addicting then CoD:Ghosts and BF4. And inFAMOUS: Second Son is really good as well. This is all my personal opinion.

Youre correct, and its so good. Baseball is probably only my 3rd or 4th favorite sport, but the game is probably better than Fifa or 2K, which are both really good.

I dont believe in buying a system for one game, but as an avid sports gamer, it helps a lot to justify my preference for PS4 over Xbox

Based on what I've read PS4 has been the heavily favored of the two consoles. However, there are multiple reasons I am still leaning towards the XB1. First, my XBL account as well as all purchases and game data will be transferrable to the new console. Second, most, if not all, of my friends that I play online with are on the Xbox. Some have switched over to the PS4 and have regretted it simply because they have nobody to play with now. Either way I am undecided as there are not enough titles out to sway me either way and for now my 360 still feels relevant since new games are still coming out.

Don't forget that most of what the internet argues about is not even noticeable to most users. Like 960p versus 1080p and slightly better framerates on multiplats. The average joe running his console on a normally priced TV will never notice the difference. And it's not like playing a game at 960p instead of 1080p makes the game less good or less fun. They're also really butthurt about the $100 price difference and Kinect.

I have an X1 and I bought it for the same reasons you're thinking, my friends all have xboxes and that's where we game. I have no regrets, especially since many of the games I loved all through the previous gen were xbox exclusives (Halo, Gears, Forza)

Plenty of people owned a PS3 when it was inferior to the 360 and they somehow managed to live through it.

I had to buy an Xbone so my fiancee could play her Zumba, but the PS4 is what I want. Still haven't had a chance to get it, been spending all my money on cool stuff for the car. inFamous Second Son ftw.

Now that its been a few months, I just wanted to pop in here with an update. I've played Titanfall on my XB1 probably about 2 times since February.

I play my PC every day, nearly.


I guess I'm a diehard PC gamer then, judging from the facts. I can't swallow buying TitanFall again just for the PC though so maybe the XB1 does have a purpose lol
