I was able to make it out there for the first time and I was surprised to see the Miatas, Mustangs, and WRX STI's. Need more twins there! lol

In all fairness, both imports@uci and boba+Miatas have had their meets there before us. We kinda took the spot from them which is why imports@uci dislikes us and they move to other locations frequently

I knew boba+miatas were there before us, but I thought imports@uci was originally at boomers?

Still doesn't explain all the mustangs and rsx's...

To be fair though, I did bring along the 4 wrx hatches....figured it'd be ok since share the similar hearts right? lol

Imports @ uci has been a club for a long long time, they occasionally moved here and there but DJ was always their spot. Once the frs guys came, they moved because they didn't like us.

I brought it to everyone's attention before but no one seemed to care.

This seems to be a common theory amongst most who come to the meet. Most look down at any car that isn't a FRS or BRZ and even then they aren't very friendly. I think we should just start a new location for the sake of respecting others but that's just me...

I brought the idea of just talking to them if they come up to the top floor and greeting them but even then, no one really cared for the idea.

I'm even surprised to see people not bash me like the first time I brought this up....

That's why i rarely go to the Irvine Meets no one really talks to anyone else other than their few cliques... and anytime a different car rolls by they make remarks. Not saying it needs to be where everyone knows each other but damn atleast be welcoming haha... We could always move it to somewhere else in OC...
