Still in testing. Rob is very thorough and wants to make sure there are no long term alternator impacts. Probably 2+ months out from what I understand (I bug him weekly) =)

+1 .. Now have full ESC installed in RHD. Rob wants me to try it out for a month to ensure it's all ok.

Just waiting for when Shiv gets back (for ESC tune) and the fun can begin!

Many thanks to :-
-Kalen at Gray Developments for sorting the RHD WOT bracket.
-Rob for his help with the install.
-All the guys with the install tips.

It seems like there is something more serious going on with my ESC . It did the same thing a few more times, even while making sure to turn system on at idle. I reset the compressor each time as Rob suggested. What's even worse is now the compressor doesn't engage even after doing the reset procedure. I'm unsure of if I have a defective compressor or what... I'm going to contact Rob and see what I can find out.

A little more info: I am getting 28.7 volts, I can hear the fan on the controller running, throttle switch clicks and the wiring is not melted or anything, even with the car just on and not running the compressor won't engage.

It is not initializing properly, I PM'd you.... It is not a big deal, I just need to re-program it.

Cheers. Rob.

If I can make a suggestion make sure you check the charge on your batteries as well.

I've been reading into this quite a bit lately and I like where its going, I'll probably have to pick this up sooner or later.

My question is, if I have the Crawford billet power blocks installed, will there be any positive or negative effect adding the ESC?
I'm using the OFT so when the BPB maps come out I'll be switching to them, but if I get the phantom installed, I'd need to either take the blocks out and run the dedicated esc map, or wait for Shiv to make one that includes both, right? (Obviously I could get a custom tune done but I like my OFT lol)

Any possibility of compressor rpm scaling in the future to improve boost at the higher rpm range?
I'm sure the motor and compressor is not at their limit yet correct?

I remember Shiv saying that the esc does not see much
gains when adding the bpb, supposedly the bpb is excellent for natural aspirated though
