Per Rob, Procedure: With car not running. 1) press WOT switch and hold. 2) Turn on 'arm' slide switch, count to 5 mississipi's, then release WOT switch. 3)Wait 5 seconds, then press WOT switch for 1-2 seconds to confirm compressor is spooling.

You need more tuning for bovs to work properly and then it still always seems there is driveability issues.
When the brake works there is no need for one at the levels of boost we are running. The only reason that ravens brake wasn't working was because it accidentally got reprogrammed which can't happen with the new controllers

I datalogged a 30 minute drive on the backroads going home from work. Mostly cruising, with the occasional WOT ESC pulls.
It shows there was knock correction once. Does that mean a knock event occurred? If so, is the tune too aggressive? I read somewhere that we want the fuel trim to be within 5%. The st fuel trim went above that threshold several times. Is that okay? Can someone take a look at the logs to see if anything else is wrong? http://datazap.me/u/tm/ots-esc

1 knock correction is okay...the stock tune knocks on 91 Oct all the time. Where did the knock correction happen ? Is your IAM still at 1....that is the best indication that all is well. Your car will learn over time how much timing to use to not get any knock correction. |

I just looked at the logs in excel and it seems like there were two times a knock correction happened. Around the 422-second mark and the 828-second mark. Both times were during initial WOT and boost. Here's the specific section where the 2 knock corrections occurred: http://datazap.me/u/tm/ots-esc?log=0...zoom=3976-8974

The second knock event just looks like tip in knock. It happened as soon as you went WOT and was only a -.69 event. If you look you arent even making boost yet. Other than that you log looks great, getting really good boost numbers

As for the knock if it happens during open loop in wot then once your ltft stabilized and your ecu had enough learned data, you shouldnt knock when you go wot and into closed loop since ltft is used in ooen loop. Hopefully someone smarter could chime in and give a better/more in-depth explanation.:

Just finished showing off the phantom to @jflogerzi. Unfortunately the weather in the inland empire is about 100 degrees Fahrenheit right now and the low boost mode kicked on after about 4-5 pulls. We waited about 10 minutes and were able to get about 2-3 pulls. Not sure if I impressed him as much as I wanted but I did my best!
Nice meeting you Jeff can't wait to see what you do with your car.

@Sojhinn I really want to thank you for taking the time to meet me today. He asked for me to give my honest opinion so here it goes. First off great job Rob. You have created a product that no one really can touch as far as price, ease of installation and value. For me I have already driven a OFT STG 2 E85 Tune with an aftermarket Borla UEL header. Having already experienced this setup, it left me a bit underwhelmed. Now someone who is looking for a good shot of low end power who has a stock car, Phantom ESC, OFT, and your choice of axleback would really offer a great combo. For my goals I can see this product will not meet them. I want more power than what this kit will offer even after improvements have been made. Another issue is this setup in its current form is not useable at the track. I hope Rob continues to develop the product and refine it. I will still pop my head into this thread from time to time and check its progress.

Hah. I'm always a willing tester. ![]() I got my final piece for the cooling mod, but I haven't installed it. Was going to wait until Monday so I can use the schools lift but I want to start today. We will see.
