Woah the grammer police in the house, everyone hide your kids.
Generic shape = tubular body, wings , flaps and such. I did say "are you gonna compare a fighter to an airplane", I didn't not say they were the same.

I'm done here, sorry OP for flaming your post.

I've been waiting for someone to do that. They would look awesome on a Rocket Dork.

You swing your purses, I'll just be happy the FR-S has a little supercar in it.

Wow shown how you were wrong in analogy and immediately resort to name calling. I bet your fun in real life.

Like the styling but 4000lb, that's heavier than I expected.

I wonder if the Maserati has a torque dip... Than they'd share even more similarities

I was at an intersection opposite one of those last week. I could see the other guy's face wondering what mine was while I prolly had the same scrunch face thinking "wow, that's big" as I looked upward to his beltline as we passed.

Slap one of these on the grille and most wouldn't know the difference:

Damn.... 86 looks nice until you compare it side by side with Maserati.
86's engine also sounds nice until you hear a Maserati revs next to it lol....
If you compare the interior... forget about it.

Maserati GT is one of my favourite cars regardless of price. I think if I were rich I'd still drive Maserati rather than the more expensive exotics. IMO it's the perfect car for style, performance, and daily driveability.

Bro in law has a Quattroporte, so jealouzzz

OP: surely you could hear the difference? You probably thought damn that 86 sounds sweet I want that aftermarket exhaust! And then when you saw it up close oh OK. It's a Maserati. Lol

Never saw one before or if I did then I did not noticed the similarity.
Funny I had that exact same experience. Same overall body shape, at least from a profile shot. Made me feel good about my car lol.
