The off the shelf maps will get you up and running.

Should you have the need for more power and refinement you can seek a tuner or learn how to tune based on reading more on the forums in the specific OFT Tuning sections.

For the average Joe and basic mods the OFT and off the shelf maps are good improvement in performance and response.

As others have said oft maps are not locked so any competent tuner can fine tune it for you, or the OFT guys offer an e tune service for about $200 see their web site

Also i believe 1.6 version tunes will be out in a month or so after shivs wedding ect and they will offer 91 and 93 octane tunes.

or i did a writeup on how to correct knock pohlems yor slf in thi forum " knock fix for australian fuels" but applies to any petrol so you could tweek it yourself
