@Accurate Race Shop You were photographed at the MSU show by a friend of mine. Image is hosted on Facebook so let me know if anyone has issues seeing it.

Motul Gear 300 was delivered today.

I also ordered 3 of each of the crush washers for fill and drain plugs for the diff. From what I've read, the washers on the trans can be re-used. So we should be in good shape.

To the guy that called about the engine swap and what was all involved. It's not an easy or fast process and most people are averaging around $10k in parts and labor on top of the price of the motor and trans to put a non-boxer engine in the car. Your best bet would be to look at a built ej25 as it will bolt in without you having to completely cut up the car and have a bunch of custom parts and wiring harnesses made.

Edit: also sorry you got forwarded to my cell phone so I didn't realize what was going on at first.

Hey I think I saw you yesterday between 4:30 to 5pm in 6 mile rd. You were in the left lane and I guess you got fed up with the traffic so you turned to the middle lane and made a left in Haggerty? It about infront of the mcdonalds there.

I was about 4-5 cars behind on the right lane.

I drive to Milford almost everyday on 696 and 96 at around 7.30/8. I very rarely see any toyobarus on my way to work, though there is one black BRZ that's always there!

That would have been me. I either go 6 to Northville or 6 to Haggerty going home.

Saw this on Xceedspeed earlier. Looking good! I'm anxious to see what the tune does with those powerblocks.

That autocross at Autocity looked painfully tight.

Here's my video from the silverdome on Sunday.

1st on index, 167 cars:

I'll be road racing this weekend at Waterford Hills in a Yellow Spec Neon. I think it's 5 dollars to get in, racing starts Saturday afternoon at 1 PM (Qualifying before), and runs until 5:30 PM, and then we're racing all day 10 AM - 6 PM on Sunday. If you're not racing, come check out some amatuer road racing action. We have a time trial program on Sunday's as well, open to street cars. Bring the family, bring a lawn chair, drink beer up on the hills, watch people shit their pants as a Neon passes Miata's in the rain....should be a good time.

The following weekend I'll be autocrossing at the Toledo express airport. If you're into autocross, and never been to Toledo to race, make sure you make the event next Saturday, 5/10.

Hit a snag on our project for this weekend. Suburban Subaru has no crush washers.. I ordered them from Suburban Scion.. they said they would be in Friday... but I called today to check and they are now saying that 2 of them are on backorder and they can't get them until early next week. So, unless you guys want to re-use the crush washers, or if you can help me find them from some other dealership, it looks like we might have to wait a while to do this project.

LOL.. I called Hodges. They don't keep them in stock.. he said that the guys in the shop just re-use the crush washers for the diff.

So.. @ZeHeadBanger and @DKPJester
I have 3 diff drain plug crush washers and 1 diff fill plug crush washer.

Personally, i'm not worried about the fill plug crush washer.. in theory the fluid level would stay below that hole anyway (at least when parked), so even if it did manage a small leak it shouldn't be a big deal. Plus, since it's the fill hole, you can just replace it another time without any fuss.. you wouldn't have to drain any fluid.. just back out the plug and replace the washer and put it back on.

Still, I do have the other two fill hole crush washers coming early next week..

So up to you guys.. we can get together and do all the trans and diff fluids this weekend or we can put it off until another time. Or you can just come pick up the fluids, etc.. and you can do the swap on your own.

If you want to come this weekend.. how about Sunday around 1pm? It should be a nice day.. about 60 and sunny. Tomorrow is supposed to rain..

let me know what you guys think.

Thanks
Seth
