I can't stand it when, not only my girlfriend, but others in general pull the lock to unlock it rather than hitting the unlock button. Is it really that hard? If anything it's easier to hit the button. Or in the FR-S's case just have a little patience and wait.

To most women a car is a car is a car...you could drive a Bentley and it wouldn't matter. You're better off lettin them drive their car, or just try to care less. You won't change them only hurt their feelings.

I have 2 sisters.
When I had my celica (1988) that thing was my BABY. The DAY I would clean it top to bottom, my sisters would drag their smelly asses, dirty ass feet inside. It drove me INSANE. Can't imagine how insane I'll be when I get a twin. I know everyone will want to drive it, even my sisters who don't know how to drive. Send help. T_T |

Open bottles of sticky soda are the antichrist. And she always seems to open the cap right when the light turns green or going over some bumps.

My wife and 3 daughters all know how anal I am about my cars. They wait for me to back out of the garage before they get in the car. I have weather tech floor liners and Xpel film on the door sills to minimize the shoe scuffing. I use the Smokie the Bear camping rule that states if you pack something into the car then you pack it out. No fast food drive throughs, we always go inside if I am driving. No one has ever sat in the back seat and never will. They are super careful when opening the doors to my wife's car in the garage so as to not ding my door/rear fender. It helps to have been able to train them over the years. I don't have many vices or faults so they let me slide with being obsessive about my car...

I should take home the trophy... I made my GF open and close my door 3x in a row to learn how to close my door after multiple times of slamming.
But she knows now. Careful getting in and careful getting out. If she happens to hit her foot on the glove box when crossing legs I don't have to yell... she knows she angered me. Love her to death though.... my BRZ. jk. |

It's a car. It'll get dirty. It'll probably get scratched, dinged, worn, used, etc. It's the nature of using it for its intended purpose. Having said that, I have kids and they can eat in the Camry, but they don't get anything other than water in my Abarth.

When my middle sister was with a driving instructor, the driving instructor had to stop the session because they were fearful. Tried a different driving school, same story. Pulled over twice with an instructor in the car. ...And guess who now is responsible for teaching both her sisters to drive? Send help. ![]() I'd be glad to show my hobby to anyone willing to listen. If they don't have the necessary situational awareness required to drive a vehicle, kick their asses onto the bus. I'm all for jacking up the minimum driving age anyway. Sorry minors, pretty much all of you suck at driving.

They already bumped the age here. When I got my license it was simple, 16: take the temp test, 6 months later: take the real test, get license. Now it's 16: take the temp test, 6 months later: take the real test, get restricted/temp license, 6 months later again: get real license. I'm not sure if there's three tests or what it is. I don't need to know these things, I've had my license 9 years!
