How the engine sounds with this intake? it's louder than stock from outside?

I didn't notice any difference except for the car re-learning its idle. Acceleration was more sluggish but again, I would attribute that to the relearning. I might drive the car again today so I let you know if its smoothed itself out.

Not much louder. The stock snorkel stays on so the volume level doesnt increase. You can change that via modifying the snorkel underneath the bumper.

The relearning proces itīs a pain.
I thought that removing the main resonator in the stock airbox and the little under the intake tube it will be more loud...
Sorry my bad english.

Its actually quieter because of removing the sound generator.

To help with the resetting the ecu, try slowly pressing in the gas pedal approximately 10 times while the car is in accessory mode after the reset. It helps reduce the dead pedal.

Yes from outside.
So the TRD intake sounds like the stock intake with "TRD blue sound changer".
Ummm...disappointing

I never understood why people would buy an intake for the sound. Exhaust is a far better solution to making your car sound better IMO.

I bought my intake to help me score.

"Hey wanna see my intake?"
"Sure what is it"
"Open the hood and take a look" (pop hood)
(She opens hood and bends over to take a look)
BAM! Take full advantage of the position

The TRD exhaust should make her bend even lower!

I have an exhaust that sounds pretty good, but I also like intake noise from outside.

I find induction noise much more satisfying.

See: BMW CSL, Ariel Atom, etc.

Download the Ariel Atom intake sound and play it through your stereo. WAYYY cheaper. If you turn it up loud enough you can hear it from outside the car too! :p

Sorry guys, just busting your balls.
