From what I understand the crawford power blocks would not take you out of STX, correct? Sorry if thats been asked. I skimmed thru and didn't see that question.

No it would not. If it is not stated in the rule set, then it is not allowed. From what I can tell it puts us into CSP where intake mods are allowed. But then you can also add a higher stall convertor for AT (me) or oil & trany coolers.

If you have a tune, you can make the limiter stay at certain RPM. if no tune. it bounces and falls on its face. With the tune its not automatic either, you should tell your tuner you want a 'hard' Rev limit.. that's the only thing that will take car of it.

Correct..the Pedal dance also allows a higher threshold on all the nannies, ABS included. The pedal dance puts the car into a "diagnostic" mode.. so it be a 'more normal' car without the aid of Traction, ABS, and G-limits.

After driving my friend's STi with a lightweight flywheel and clutch, I fell in love, but I can't seem to find any solid info on whether or not I can actually run a lighter flywheel or better clutch in STX. I don't even know where to look for specific rulings; whenever I see anyone quote rulings, I can't seem to find where they are.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. If I can't run a lighter flywheel, I'd rather have my heart crushed now, as opposed to taking the time to install it, and show up to an event to find out it isn't legal.

EDIT: After re-reading the OP, I see that transmission changes cannot be done. So I'm guessing this rules out what I was hoping to do...
Stock or Stock type replacement is all that is allowed. No flywheel modifications are allowed other than stock.

Adjustable rear LCA's are allowed but they can't have spherical bushings.. they have to have Rubber/urethane to be legal.. ie: Whiteline legal, Cusco not legal.. what camber are you trying to run? what is front set at??

No intake modifications allowed other than an air intake/filter

Highlighted for your pleasure... however: There is a proposal on the line that will allow oil coolers.. but as of right now, not legal

You guys are asking good questions.. LMK if I can help further.

I'm a noob trying to determine if I can upgrade brake lines and brake fluid and stay classed as CS?

The car is completely stock.

I was classified CS for my first event last weekend (what a blast!).

What is the most torque-focused header nowadays? I am still header/tune-less but otherwise fully prepped for STX. After the DC Pro this weekend and facing a straight-uphill run for a good section of the left course, not to mention the launches, I really could see where I was falling short on power in the torque dip. Any thoughts?

Has to be Nameless EL. Every dyno I've seen posted in that thread has shown pretty radical gains in the "dip" section. Just be aware that to get most out of it requires dyno tune ( unless your tuner has already tuned a lot cars with Nameless header). There is also the pesky 3" outlet on that header that makes it harder to get a good seal on 2.5" over pipes, let alone stock over pipe.

I would agree ^^^... there are other Long tube headers available. I have Nameless and no torque dip AT all.. Pulls strong all the way to redline.. For Reference.. Danny Kao has a HKS header.. so its more upper mid to topend header.. the Nameless is more bottomend to mid.. but pulls pretty strong up top also..

Since tires as of 2015 have to be 200UTG or higher what are most people planning to use? I ran my first auto x in my car yesterday and I am happy with the suspension setup but I think I need more tire under the car, and I won't be able to use original Hankook RS-3s anyway next year so I am trying to think ahead.
