I mentioned the fix for the window roll down when you open the door.. and the tint guy said he'd rather not do it, even though I told him the Subaru window shuts fine with the window up.

He had a customer who removed the relay for his windows.. slammed the door.. and "BOOM!" shattered the glass.

I would cry
I've never heard of transitioning window film..

When I tinted my car, they took my door panels apart and tinted to the end of the glass and heated the edges nicely before letting me drive off.

Nothing except back it out of garage so I could spend 5 hours cleaning the interior of my wife's Tiguan. Holy crap that thing was disgusting...

Has anyone experienced similar?
That doesn't make sense - not at an optical point of view, anyway.
Transition lenses don't make use of a "film". It's the matrix of the lens that changes conformation - that's what enables the colour change in your transition lenses.

That doesn't sound right for our cars. I unplugged the door sensors when I had my windows done and drove like that for a week with no problems. The door made a much more satisfyingly solid sound when closing, but the lights were no longer auto-off since they couldn't tell that the door had been opened and closed.

Today I gave my girl a bath.

Gave it a voice with a works ab-m that I bought from a fellow forum member. So happy with it, wish I'd have done it sooner.

Had a brief scare yesterday when I drove up to the only E85 station in 45 min radius and there was caution tape up with locks on the pumps.

Found out they just relocated and opened the new station today.

Scared the crap out of me. Corn power remains!
