I agree. My car made 168 stock and 205 by adding the ESC. Everything remained the same. This was on 94 octane and a dyno dynamics.

@Jac is right on the money. I think you will find that the Phantom gains a lot more on stock engines than it does on modified engines. For instance in Shiv's example where he made 217whp that same engine should make about 195whp without the Phantom. Also, your Dyno Dynamics is good for almost +10whp vs a Dynojet which helps to explain why you gained so much more than all other Phantom users running pump gas.

BTW, you are 100% wrong about the VW GTi.

Welcome back. If a dyno dynamics is good for 10hp then both the stock and boosted runs would have that bump and the results would be the same.

There are not many people that have made 195 on 91 octane....doesn't matter how many supporting mods.

I agree that the phantom does add alit more than other NA mods but it should because it is actual FI on a smaller scale.

The same could be said for most FI. Not many exhaust systems make a world of difference on the final numbers.

Got a link? I could only find this one but on Dynojet.

Stock: 178whp
ESC TQ250: 202whp

This one. This was my first brz edit tune. The oft tune is actually stronger in my opinion.

I do agree that my results were very good. Most people will see 205ish with the OFT and the ESC. The exhaust mods don't seem to matter to much.

If installing my front/over pipe wasn't such a pain (had to jack the motor) I'd do a dyno without it to get a true stock vs. ESC only comparison.

I don't think it matters too much though, it should be pretty clear that the Phantom isn't about big peak hp gains but big low end torque. Thats loud and clear from every dyno in this thread.

Except that no one else had similar results on other dynos. Most gained about 25whp to your 37whp.

IIRC Shiv was running 93 octane for that 217whp result but claimed the tune was "safe" for 91. The ECU handles such slight differences quite well on it's own. Anyway, here's a recent dyno from someone who hit 199whp on 91 with just a few bolt-ons.

And here is 206.5 whp on 92:

I agree. This system is targeting streetable performance without breaking the bank.

So far we are getting to about 215 or so with about 2500 bucks tuned and installed in a hour. Definitely moving in the right direction.

Cant wait to see what Rob has up his sleeve next, he seems to always have something
