Whats the best way to mount an OFT to my dash? E.g. to the left hand side of my steering wheel (next or on the vent?). Is there a specific mount anyone is using?

I was getting 24mpg on E85 na. Now that I'm boosted its about 21-22... Gets lower at times.... Not quite sure why....

im gona get a mount that sticks to my dosh on the hump over the ac vents, and extends it forward and down a bit so its right in font of the ac vent/cdplayer area. seems like the most convenient spot for cable routing and view ability. ill post pics when i get it all set up.

I tried using my phone mount and a flat OBD2 extension from Amazon but writing to Ecu would always fail. Anyone else have this problem with extension?

Weird. It works fine until you go to flash. Without cable it flashes fine. It's this the one you have? I ordered mine a long time ago, but I think this is the one I have.

Thanks. The weird on that seem like they would be much beefier. The flat cable maybe just can't handle the power? More likely one of the word broke on mine. I should've check for continuity but just asked it back yesterday

I might have said this, but the cable that came with my OFT is just long enough to run under the steering column and up to the windshield right by the pillar. I have a camera phone mount that is just wide enough to hold the OFT.

Shiv,

Do the pump gas catless header tunes still allow the sensors to read as "Ready" by a scan tool or smog station? Or are they disabled? Would anything appear abnormal to a scan tool?

Thanks

One thing I'm unclear on:

I need to have the dealer do the TSB on the GPS and possibly have the fuel pump replaced re: crickets (I haven't decided on that since the fix doesn't seem to actually fix the crickets and the crickets don't seem to be anything more than an annoying sound anyway).

Do I need to flash back to stock?
