Looks like it's gonna miss my 1/4" or so. No big deal, just eliminate the flange on on side of the tray. With one side missing, make sure you strap the battery pack together.

Yup. Only issue i see is that's it's a lithium battery do these charge just fine on the stock system?

What happened I guess is that I plugged the OFT into my laptop and turned on the old version of OFM and it automaticly updated all the files but they were incompatable with the old version of OFM.

I downloaded the new OFM and everything is back to normal.

Except

It says my boost pressure is 72 PSI when I am in vacuum. 72 PSI HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Anybody else seen this?
I updated the OFT last night and then plugged it in this morning... when I got to the page that shows all of the live numbers, everything was fine. In a couple minutes, all of the text disappeared.

Thoughts?

Sweet. Never seen these before. They must have an internal system to allow for this type of recharging in a car. My rc cars and planes that use li pos require specialized recharging so i don't fry them.

Problem solved. New OFM+Updated OFT=text is back.

The new OFM was apparently necessary to make the OFT update work correctly... or something... At any rate, it's resolved with the new updates.

So, does this kit cause the gt86 to lose its high reving characteristic? I am reading some reviews were the sweet spot and ideal driving rpms are down low. I have not driven this kit but the dynos would lead me to believe that to achieve the beat speeds you would want to drive it like it is supposed to be driven.... All the way to redline. But, whats it like when u get to 5k and the boost tapers off? I am thinking its the best of both worlds. Massive low end tq thAT pushes you into the 5 to 7.5k sweet spot. Can someone describe? Jak is nice enough to let me test drive it soon

Nice fat bottom end, revs out just like it always has...except it's making 40 more horsepower.

Yea

weird wasn't it?

Can you do a data log of boost and put it through the datalogger and see what you get?

Any time I'm not under boost my log says I have 72 PSI.

Is it only me or is there a flaw in the system?

It's not just you. I was testing the boost channel yesterday. I'm still NA, so I'm in vacuum 99% of the time, it reads 72. It only displays the actual boost when not in vacuum (in my case, the rare moment where I go WOT and get like 0.15psi).

There is no flaw. You are running 72psi

Jk.. There is a computational bug in the logging. Will fix it next week.

You're making an extra 40? With 1.5 dump pack? I'm doing another 20 peak hp.

Bottom end is awesome though, my torque tapers off quite a bit after 6k
