That said, in my searching I found what looks like a Canadian source at http://www.ezoildrain.ca/ They ship for free, and the valve looks the same. |

On the topic of oil, you guys have said that you use Motul 300V exclusively and made the comment, paraphrasing, that any good 0W20 synthetic should be OK but that you haven't tested it. I was looking for something that was a little more readily available and ideally less expensive than the Motul since my track time is going to be a lot less than what you guys see. I was specifically looking at the Quaker State Ultimate Durability. The specs look to be pretty close to the Motul from what I can see. |

Oh Yeah well.....
My tails are ??????? Last update was April 22 in Los Angeles. Clearly I won't be seeing mine until next week. Very curious to see how your OFT writes as I believe you and I probably have the same ECU. Very exciting indeed.

My S2000 actually sees virtually zero track time now, but I still use 300V. Between the long oil change intervals and improved mpg, it's totally worth it for me. My oil change interval (10k+) is determined by used oil analysis. |

So that's 16,000kms, I'm still doing changes at 5000 kms here regardless, using Toyota 0W20 synthetic. I'll have to look into it based on your comment of the oil analysis. In my day job, I manage a fleet of work vehicles and have found that the extended intervals are a bit too extended and leading to issues so we have reduced it to fixed 8000 km intervals on conventional oil, instead of going by duty cycle indicator (mostly Honda cars and Ford trucks). So I guess I'm also a bit old school, which is why I do my own car every 5K. |

Hard to google on the phone, but I think the QS is Group V.
I looked at the spec sheets and the Mogul and QS numbers that they published were virtually identical, which is why I am interested in it. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |

Personally I use the redline gl4 in the trans and the gl5 in the diff. We run the GL4 in the trans in the chumpcar and have had very good results with it.

Talking 'bout oil, I'm about to order that ! Amsoil is pricy for student me
Too bad mississauga is 5 hours away, I could have saved on shipping by picking up ! Any recommendations before I pull the trigger ?

Sorry, got confused with Motul. I can get you Motul if you need it (or pick up your Amsoil for you). Good thing is you can save as the same Motul lube is used in the Trans and the diff. And you need just over 2 litres for each. So with same type, you get 5 litres instead of 3 of each. |
