Thanks. 17"x9" 6ULR wheels (for the NC Miata) weigh 17 -18 lbs (depending on offset), so my math should be about right.

Off the bat all rear suspension bushings should fit. Front ones too probably, but that would require a more in depth look at the car that I haven't had.

I thought this was an interesting tidbit. Can you tell us anything about the stock spring rates? You didn't happen to put the stock shocks on a dyno did you? Are your springs progressive rate? Thanks!

Fantastic review, thanks for sharing! It's good to read some comparisons to similar [good] cars. The steering feel comparison with the R53 MINI is a big plus, as that car has it in spades.

Based on my time with the car in the dealership showroom, the BRZ's seats are much narrower in the torso and perhaps slightly narrower in the seat....and definitely more supportive in every way. This is going off driving my friends '02 WRX a few weeks ago.

IMHO, Subaru WRX/STi are the lowest metric to compare to. I wonder how this compares to Elise, s2k, or Miata.

Personally, I wouldn't call them the lowest metric. Just not directly applicable.

Consider these brakes come on a car with about 70more horsepower and weighs 550 lbs more. It stops.
If car magazines are accurate, the 2011 WRX seems to be lacking in brakes.

"Braking confidence in the WRX weighed heavy on the driver’s mind. One hot lap’s worth of  braking in the Subie generated enough heat to cause the pedal to go soft and, ultimately, away." -Car and Driver

But these brakes + some track pads should be a good match with the 86.
