I baselined 155WHP on a mustang dyno, and with a K&N Drop in, Q300, and 3" catted front pipe, my car made 167WHP on the same dyno, and it did 170whp on a dynojet... all on 91 octane and stock tune though.
I know it doesn't exactly work like this, but you can see, a stock BRZ in similar conditions with the dyno set up the same way baselined at 150whp. The tuner said the last three Ft86's baselined within like 2-3whp of each other. Obviously I don't have a stock baseline of my car but thats the best comparison I have.

looking at the baseline, something is definitely off on the charts, they must have altered something involving the rev scale, almost all FR-S have the tq dip from 3200 RPM to 4700RPM... in your case the baseline reports the tq dip between 3000 and 4400.

I'm not saying it's not possible, but I've seen many FR-S with complete exhaust and CAI's and they only got as high as 191 WHP with a custom tune on a mustang Dyno, and report even less than that on a Dynojet.

When I was stock, one of the locals did a tune and managed 185WHP on the Mustang Dyno, I went after him and did 155 WHP on the same dyno.

A few months later we both went to a Land and Sea Dynomite and he did 178 WHP, and mine did 169WHP, neither of us changed anything from the time we did the run in the mustang dyno.

I totally agree. It still seems high to me, and since I never got a real baseline I won't know. But now I have this, and when I can finally decide on an FI kit, I can have a decent number to compete against. haha

In the end it's just a number, best way to test is by going down the drag strip

Uh, I'd be really surprised to see front and overpipes actually doing anything on a dyno. Just saying.. +/- 1whp..

A FP give more HP than a catback. The OEM secondary cat is very restrictive.

Overpipe with the stock header isn't worth much, but if you have a different header with a larger collector you'll see bigger gains from a matching diameter over pipe.

The front pipe will give you good gains regardless of the rest of your setup, the stock one is pretty restrictive.
