This design trend of manufacturers making all their cars look the same is stupid.

So has anyone else had the same complaint about the Dart?

Dodge announces they are bringing back the Dart. I think:

Dodge releases new Dart:

Oh, Ok. <sigh>

It's clearly gotten much more extreme in the past ~10 years however.

4 doors doesn't bother me at all. That it's a giant, tall BRICK of a car does. Here's what they shoulda built:

Chrysler hasn't lead, or even come close to any fuel economy oriented vehicles. Its nice to see a sharp looking car dodge get 40+ mgp...........even if the dual dry clutch is junk, or the plastic coolant hoses are a common leak, or the telematics gateways commonly internally fail, or the.......well you get the point lol

If they had made this car I wouldn't say one bad word about it, even with 4 doors. Much closer to the original Charger.

I agree, they should have built the car you posted these pics of.

Back when it debuted, the above Charger concept looked alright. It still doesn't look bad, but it sure does look dated.

I think it looks a lot better than the current/past models. I had a loaner '14 Limited Durango and it had the new style tails (like the charger pictured) as well.

The charger is a big car, and they sell a lot of them. There's a better market for a large sedan than a coupe - period. This is especially true given the size of the Charger. It's big enough for 4 to ride comfortably and has a large trunk. The challenger fills the 2 door void for Dodge. It's a huge coupe, but it's a coupe.

Nothing takes styling cues from a Camry.....

The charger looks just like the current charger with a reconfigured nose.
I think the taillights just got a bit more softened making it more similar to the dart's....The Charger always had wraparound taillights.
