Yup, towards the south shore of the island.

How about The Counter in Fremont in several weeks?

Wow, stupid me totally forgot that I won't be able make it tmrw night

(just realized that I have an evening baby CPR class). Just my luck that the once in a while the meet makes it to Alameda, I can't join

. But since folks have already expressed interest in Alameda, here is my suggestion for the location

South Shore Center, Alameda
I would suggest parking in the location below:
2245 S Shore Center Alameda, CA 94501
Food options nearby: Sushi House, Chipotle, 5 Guys, Panera, etc.
Meet at the usual 7:30pm and hang out the parking lot or walk over to the beach to enjoy the sunset for a little while.

If people hang out as late as they usually do, I maybe able to swing by and say hi.

Doh! turns out I can't make it tonight either. But I'll update the calendar and post up this location on the 86DRIVE FB/IG.

It just opened on Monday. It is at the corner of Paseo Padre and Walnut, down near BART. It is in a strip mall near the court house. Parking on the front side of the strip mall could be a bit busy, but there should be plenty of parking on the sides.
