Myth. Damper life may be reduced somewhat in the long term by lowering springs, but nobody is "blowing" them with springs. In general these stories you're reading are about dampers that are damaged by incorrect installation.

People are "blowing" their shocks because they're spinning the shaft when installing the springs



Camber really isn't that bad. I hardly notice it.
