I have a cell phone mount off ebay that works pretty well. BARELY fits, but gets the job done.

I believe it was this one for $3.90 shipped.

Cord is just long enough to mount the OFT left and above the steering wheel on the windshield.

Wanted something basic and didn't want to spend a ton of money. I saw the ProClip angled mount and figured it would do the trick. I didn't want to buy the phone specific mount or universal mount. Figured I could get away without it.

The mount "mounts" easily. Just clip in the bottom and snap in the top. I didn't even use the adhesive. Seemed unnecessary. I used some 3m velcro to attach the bracket to the OFT. Works great.

I already had purchased a slim OBD cable. So I ran it across the tunnel to the passenger side. Then attached the OFT cable there. Happy with the results.

I got a little dashboard mount with flexible arm for mine, no more tucking it in seat and checking my temps in the straits lol.

I'm wondering if you could use a phone clamber holder. I don't know the size of the OFT..

How easy was it to run behind centre console? Is it necessary to get the slim cable seeing as how big the connector heads are? I would assume heads would be more limiting than the cable itself. Thanks!

Yeah i don't think the slim cable is necessary. I think once you remove the side covers you can fish the cable through.

Awesome, can you elaborate a bit on "remove the side covers" - is it as complicated as doing the JDM knee pad install? (I.e. pop out shifter boot, bezel around radio, etc.) Thanks!

Is just the plastic pieces below the knee pad cover areas. I don't remember exactly but i think they just pop off.

I'm using a simple Velcro on the plastic trim in between the head unit and the speedometer to mount mine.

Modified my gopro mount a little, works really well. I put the 3m gopro attachment af a slant on the back of the OFT, slip it on and off when I need to.
