I don't mind the difference. Makes it unique and fitting for a limited edition. Something the markets outside of North America can't get.... until someone does a knock off.

IDK about you guys, but I kind like Scion optional spoiler. They were creative enough to make their own design.
I really like my factory-option FR-S spoiler. It follows the lines of the car really well. And it's aggressive where it "disconnects" from the trunk.

I'd take a RS 1.0 in that yellow hue without that gaudy aero fake body kit.

I personally prefer a lot of the aftermarket kits better than either of the RS/TRD options. If I had to make choices tho, I think I like the rear end cover of the RS version better than the JP version.

I'm just glad that they're recognizing that a lot of our US buyers would at least like to have the option for factory installed kits on our cars.

At very least we could get color matched parts for the white-outs!

Correct me if I am wrong but I think they sold for ~$50k in Australia and New Zealand. Wasn't exactly cheap in UK also.

Looks like a knock off of the Japanese Version. I don't like it, IMO. I love the color though.

I think the rear diffuser part looks cool with the TRD logo.

Such a difficult crowd to please, lol! If I had to choose one, I'd go with the US kit. Not gonna go as far as to analyze the company's code of ethics though

We wish - NZ$64k and NZ$69k for the full JDM TRD limited number (20 max) here depending whether "built" from the base 86 model or the GT86 model. Our version has the hugely expensive TRD BBK on it that the USA model doesn't appear to include. UK model didn't have the BBK either.

Details here http://www.toyota.co.nz/our-range/86/gt86/

The black under the front lip of the USA TRD model looks a bit like TRD factory aero kit available here - also on above link.
