You never know. It's a inexpensive, sporty car. Most car buyers have no idea what the numbers mean anyway. Also, most of my friends that are into import cars are super excited for this car. It makes similar numbers to cars like the Honda Civic Si, and it looks cooler and for the same price. It will sell.

hmmm...1000 preorders...500 cars a month...pre-orders are supposed to have priority right? does that mean those that have one on order should get it in the first two months? I can only hope lol.

Pre-order soon ?
I did pre-order ... and I opted NOT for the limited like alot of other folks..
because I think the Premium spec has all that I need to drive.

I hardly ever use fogs,
I don't want a spoiler
I can turn a key
and cloth seats are fine by me.

It's awesome that this car is meeting with such success. It bodes well for this platform to live a long life.

i put my preorder in 2 weeks ago. went with the premium also for the same reasons. the only thing i wanted from the limited is the seats, not worth a ~2k price increase just for those.

Si clocks in at 22 grand so for someone considering an inexpensive car I would think the 4-6 grand difference would matter.

Considering that the Si is 22k, 3k is pretty good IMO. Honda Civics are sold by the millions, these are sold by the thousands. A Civic Si nowadays is an Accord engine thrown into a Civic body with some stiffer springs.
