OntrackInsurance is where we get our insurance from.
$155 is dirt cheap for a 2 day event. The rule of thumb for the track is: If you can't afford to lose it, you shouldn't be tracking it. So if you can't afford the hit if your BRZ gets wrecked, then buy the insurance. I've bought it for my cars before, but don't always do it. I was able to shave 2 seconds off my lap times by buying it though.  -mike |

I've only been to a one day event...and I didn't buy insurance for the reasons stated (beginner with instructor in car at all times).
But two cars were totaled the day I was there....both in the intermediate/advanced groups. I will be purchasing insurance for my future events.
