glue
There is a glue called pl2000, or pl3000 It will bond anything. I would suggest trying that to bond the 2 materials. You will probably need a caulking gun to dispense it(last time I used it-it only came in that form)

There's another glue called Amazing Goop, similar to Shoe Goo. It is rubber based, and also glues anything, but has some give to it.
It can also be unglued easily with toluene or gasoline. This is what I used to glue the wire mesh screens into the holes I cut into my front mouthpiece on my BRZ. |

So these vents air towards the wheel well liner? No pipes? Won't that change pressure under the hood, which might cause the hood itself to rattle at high speeds?
