I haven't gotten hassled yet! I haven't driven the car too much lately though but once this is done it will be driven everyday so hopefully they leave me alone!

@kybrz So with the rear fenders trimmed and welded like that does the tire clear with the Air Lift kit aired all the way out? I'm looking to do this to my car soon and hoping I don't have to move any more metal than that.

Did you trim anything other than the outer fender skin in the front?

Thanks!

Yup, I had to make a second cut like you see in the picture above, the first time i didn't cut high enough so I remeasured and re cut that is why it looks goofy. But I can air completely out and still have about an inch of clearance from the body to the tire. Note I measured that with a 18x10.5 -7 with a 275/35 tire and I clear as far as the front, I had to bash in part of the frame rail as my tire would rub on it. Other than that I didn't have to trim anything else in the front. As of right now. I don't have my wheels and tires on it right now, I have a temp set which are similar in size, but for now nothing else needed to be trimmed.

Awesome, thanks so much for the info. It should save me some time figuring things out when I go to do mine. One more question, did you have any trouble with warping when you fully welded the fender? I might just tack mine and use seam sealer to keep the heat out of the panel.

I didn't have too much of an issue with it. I didn't see much of any warping.
