Any luck selling stock tires/rims? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Has anybody successfully managed to sell their stockies? Mine are basicaly brand new and it pains me badly to just toss both into the closet to never use them again... I cant convince myself to get new rims unless I get rid of the stock rims/tires combo.

Im going up to 18s so sadly I cant reuse tires

. What do you guys usually do when buying a new set of wheels?

Really I just want to get rid of them, I dont know if there are too many out there wanting the stockers

I dont want to give them out for free! But ill def let them go for cheap, say, 300? better offer? depends on the shipping as well

I think the problem for selling is where you're located.

I sold my stock tires for $300, and put my snow tires on the stock wheels.

From what I've researched briefly, I think people want them for their non-frs/brz cars (other different subaru and ff toyota models). Just look on eBay past transaction history, and they are selling for a good amount - anywhere from $500-$900.

Also, they make good spares for track and the ever popular drifters.

I too am curious what the going/reasonable price is though. I think $800 obo is fair, and just bargain and take it from there.

I def wouldn't sell them for anything less than $500 though ..they aren't cheapy generic wheels and they're pretty good quality.

I put mine on my wife's new Prius, they look good on that car and the tires are what would come on there with the "touring" tires.

Now I just gotta figure out what to do with the POS wheels/tires from her Prius...
