I could be mistaken here but if the evap emissions control system is the evap solenoid on the bottom of the manifold I would say you have a popped off line. Have you also gotten a p068? And have you checked if your building boost?

Thanks for the quick response. No PO68 code, just P0451 twice. I checked the lines, below are the two areas I suspected:
- Where the bypass valve is spliced into the brake booster. Here is a picture from the Vortech install manual. Note, I just popped it in there without hose clamps. http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/.../photo%201.JPG
- Where the PCV valve is spliced into the OEM breather hose. I have hose clamps on either side of the PCV valve, similar to the the picture from the Vortech manual. I didn't pop the manifold cover off to check that connection and didnt notice if the line was coming off the top of the engine. I will check this tonight, do you think I will need hose clamps on either end, in addition to at the PCV? http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...S/IMG_3763.JPG

As far as building boost, I think I am? It was working 100% when I turned the car off. Even in limp/safe mode it feels like it wants to go fast the first acceleration up to like 2500-3000 RPM, then it goes into dead boring mode.

My logic so far has been if it can be clamped then clamp it. I don't know how to link other threads on mobile but there is another thread talking about clamping down all the lines under the manifold, including the ones connected to the evap solenoid. A quick check would also be check if your gas cap is tight, that would also throw that code.

I finished installing my Vortech supercharger this past weekend and tuned it with an off the shelf FA20CLUB tune. The test drive went well, the car drove smooth, no CEL (this thing is awesome!). The next day when I started the car I got a CEL, drove the car home from my brother's when I did the work, plugged in my scangauge and pulled a P0451 code. Cleared it, started it again and went for the test drive, no check engine light no issues. The next day I drove it to work, 45 miles without any issues. I start the car after work and the CEL comes up, pull the same PO451 code, clear it. It felt normal pulling out of the parking lot but quickly felt like stock again, or worse. I think I am stuck in limp/safe mode even though I don't have a CEL currently.

P0451 Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Range/Performance

So, I am looking for some advice. Has anyone had a similar issue and success resolving it. What could be causing this? Anything I should check? What should I ask my tuner for (disable the code maybe)? If I were to disconnect the battery for 15 minutes or so to permenantly remove the code and get out of limp/safe mode, would I be running the risk of causing any damage?

Thank you. I appreciate your help in advance.
Might be your actual tune ROM file. That sensor is often used as an input for a boost solenoid or a flex fuel sensor. Toni @ FA20Club has a tendency to copy over tables improperly ( @nelsmar ) so there is a chance you just need your tune fixed.

@Philly758 You should typically be asking your tuner about this but FA20club will simply just disable the DTC. You should not be trying to boost if you are in limp mode the stock ECU was not designed with boost in mind.

Are you using a flex fuel system?

Thank you for the responses.

I will contact my tuner about this and see if I can get an updated ROM file to be sure. I wanted to come here for some feedback first so I don't end up with a bandaid fix (disabling the DTC).

I'll check all of the hoses and clamp everything for good measure (can't hurt right).

I am not running flex fuel, 93 octane tune.

Went with a different tuner. Careless mistakes in a tune can be catastrophic

Questions and Discussion on Vortech Supercharging Systems

Has anyone had problems with the blower leaking fluid from the top part of the drain hose? (Bottom of blower)

I took the blower off to tighten it, and I got it tight. Put the blower back on, and it's still leaking. Any suggestions where else it could be leaking from or how I can stop it from leaking from the hose?

Edit: turns out it's leaking from the supercharger behind the pulley
