Hankook RS3 is the best street tire for dry grip. Dunlop Z2 is close to an RS3, but it's a little peaky. Yokohama AD08R is a great tire, but the grip level isn't quite as good as the RS3, but the wet grip is significantly better than RS3 or Z2. Federal 595RS-R and BF Goodridge Rivals are probably the bottom of the barrel in terms of EHP tires (140-200 TW). They are still much better than your 200+ TW tires, but they aren't as good in the list above.
thanks for the info. would you recommend the RE-11A or RS3 over Pilot Super Sports? i am currently debating between the three. im looking to go with a 245/40 on 18x8.75 wheels.

Personally, I've always believed that upgrades should go in the order of tires/brakes, cooling, suspension, wheels and then power adders. Too often I see people jumping right to the big power adders before upgrading the others. My GT500 taught me real quick that big power can become useless without the others upgrades first.
Everything is a balance. Change one parameter and expect to change something else. That's how we build our cars, but everything is methodically thought out and executed.

RE-11A is like a Pilot Super Sport on a higher level. The RS3 has better grip than both tires in dry, but not as good in wet. Everything is a compromise.

Wheels and tires setup for 1000$

@CSG David , If I have a better budget, what is your opinion about these wheels TSW Nurburgring?

I found some guys on the web who say they are soft wheels...and some others guys who have some vibrations problems on the highway...

What is your opinion?

You seem to be moving from a $1000 budget up to a $1500 budget...

Maybe $700/$800 for tires and $1000/$1200 for the wheels, then maybe around $2000 budget

For my tires, I want g-Force T/A KDW on the oem or on a new set of wheels there is the question

Nabbed a set of used XXR 530's (18") for $250, nabbed a very slightly used set of 235/40 18" Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2's for $150. All in including mounting and balancing was under $500, there are deals to be had if you are patient - for instance the asymmetric 2 tires are great all arounders, they are standard equipment on the new Focus ST's. But then you have guys who want to swap them for a more hardcore tire like Dunlop ZII's and the like - often you see them dump the OEM tires for not much money.

Pure preference to be honest. What is the true goal in the end? I ask questions so you can come to a conclusion rather than purchase multiple parts and end up spending much more than your intended budget in the long run.

To be honest, at the beginning my goal was to get nice wheels keeping the OEM quality with a good set of tire, street/track...

For the tires am fines, I will take a set of g-Force T/A KDW but thank you for you suggestions, they are into my options list maybe Goethe future.

Then now with a better budget am looking for a good set of wheels...or keeping the OEM because as you said, OEM wheels are very good and solids compared to many cheap wheels.

I found a good deal on :

Gram Lights 57C
Spec:
5x100
17x7.5
Offset 48
Currently On Continental 245 for maybe 3 sessions.

I know, I can't run these type of tires Into the street... But I can finish the thread on the track and put the g-Force after....

G-Force is a not so good tire...once you get a taste of those higher end tires, you're going to realize what you have been missing out on.
