How long do you plan to keep it?
If you don't plan to keep it indefinitely, what are the cars that you think will potentially make you want to replace your ft86, disregarding 5 seaters. Looking at the current automotive landscape there is nothing within 100k range in the next couple years that is exciting. I want to see lotus make a come back, or some manufacture step up to fill its void, that would make things interesting again.

I plan on keeping my twin indefinitely. Unless they bring out a new S2000 or the lightweight Z car or Silvia return, I can't see anything replacing my twin in the immediate future.
That said. I do like that new BMW 2 Series. |

Probably DD for 5-10 years, then replace. Too much fun to bail on quickly

I was going to keep mine until I ran it into the ground. Then the engine blew up, so I guess I succeeded?
I'd like the new one to last a bit longer.

Don't plan on getting rid of mine unless I just run out of space to keep her!

Plan on keeping mine until the day I die or it dies. Whichever comes first.

My plan is to keep it at least 3-4 years and re-evaluate. having come from a V8, if the new Camaro based on the ATS platform lives up to the hype, or the C7 or current 1LE's starts popping up more on used market, I may switch back to Chevy. I love this car, especially after having owned a AE86 and an FC rotary; I appreciate the handling and balance. But I do miss my V8.

I'd like to keep it indefinitely and store it once it craps out on me. I will probably replace it in 7-10 years.

Long enough to pay off the negative equity and then possibly look into a new WRX/STi. Maybe by then the "I want something new" itch will be gone.

It makes a decent daily driver and secondary track toy to my other car. Also fun for Autocross. So, I doubt will be going anywhere for a while. I won't mod it much, and don't like high mileage cars. I'll probably remove whatever I put on it and transfer it to a newer one on trade in.
