I'm not the sharpest tool in the thing that people keep the tools but, all the op did was retard his ignition timing at low load which cause delayed spark, which in turn decreased combustion time, which will leave some unburn fuel to combust in the hot exhaust... there is no more or no less fuel being used.

Eh again there are other manufactures like BMW that do the pops via software for some kind of nostalgic reasons. I hate 20" wheels on just about any car but dont feel the need to search out forum threads just to make it known.

That is because they are real pops made in a similar manner to the way race cars do, but they are only artificially introduced.
