Anyone know of a good way/place to mount a 500gb slim hard drive behind the HU? Or, better yet, somewhere that I can access a bit more easily in case I want to add/remove stuff to and from the HDD. Maybe behind the glovebox?

its so damn simple there is no need. take the dash apart. unbolt the oem brackets. put them on the new unit - snip the one wire for the steering controls on the harness - install.

if anyone needs specific help tho - just pm me.

Sorry to sound like an idiot, but... what wire is that? or is it clearly labeled in the directions or something?

Ordered my Dashlinq4 this morning and that aux adapter. Thanks for all of the help, @SHIFTER! May have another question or two once I look at that aux adapter in person.

No worries!
Im pretty sure its a labeled wire - most of them are. Otherwise, below is the wiring diagram for the unit. The SWC+ wire is the one I'm talking about

Also, when you install your antenna adapter - be sure to wire it to pin number 12 to achieve power for the antenna.

What i would do is just velcro it in the glove box. I'd probably recommend using an SSD over a regular spinning drive also.
