Or squirrel, duck, cat... You get the idea. I've had critters dive bomb to their doom in front of my bikes and cars before. It's a real mess to clean up.

Lol Guys..

I am NOT exposing the radiator. I am NOT taking out the crash bar.

I am either A. Leaving the front end alone, or B. Putting on the grillcraft grill.

I AM wondering if the grillcraft grill will restrict airflow negatively to the Perrin CAI, or not. The exposed rad picture was an exaggeration.

That's too bad, I like the rocket bunny front end.

You won't have to worry about adding that grill, it will make a tiny difference, but not anything that's going to affect performance.

I've come across the Drift Armor Drift Bar, which seems simple enough to install and basically takes out that Styrofoam chunk, (which can be seen in this great picture I stole from Ryan Quinn.. hope you don't mind).

What are your thoughts on this? Am I out to lunch on this or does it make sense?

I was looking at that when I was shopping for a new intake, but I was worried about hydrolock with something like that. I know its not too low that it would suck water off the ground, but I would be so worried about driving behind someone on a rainy day with the water getting splashed up

There are threads debating this. You would need a lot of water to get any actually into the motor. I have had it on the car for nearly a year without any issues in any weather.

I purchased mine from a local importer here in Melbourne Australia called Import Monster. It is made of fiberglass and was a very good slide fit with the stock airbox. I use it now with the Grimmspeed air intake and am still happy with it. I have noticed a lot more crap in the airbox tho so you have to keep an eye on the condition of your filter more.

Here is a thread on it with a good amount of debate and a few photos including mine when i installed it.
