That sounds pretty raspy. Is that the catted/resonated DP/OP or straight-through?

I'm okay with loud, not okay with rasp.

Catted and resonated but I purchased it the OP/DP before it was officially released so it did not come with the Helmholtz resonator like the new ones do. @Shneegle should have his installed tomorrow and his has the Helmholtz resonator. I'll see him tomorrow and see if I can't get a video up to check if there is a difference.

If you could, that'd be great. That much rasp (or at least how it sounds in the video) would be a major buzzkill.

Will do.

Video also was taken with an iPhone. Probably not the best quality, but yes, it is a bit raspy. But once I got up to speed, I was really surprised with how quiet it was. During acceleration though, it is pretty hardcore, lol.

My ears are bleeding of rasp. No, a Helmholtz won't do anything about that. The pipe size is too large.

This is an uncoated nameless header. I also checked temps on the surrounding surfaces and didn't find any surface above 200F with the underside of intake bits sitting below 180F

So after sitting at idle for 10 min those are the temps I measured on an uncoated header.

Now if someone with a coated header would like to do the same that would be great and give folks an idea of what the coating is doing in terms of radiant heat.
Just got a temp gun and the coated header surface closest to intake was about 250-270F. This was after about 30 minutes of (city) driving and 10 minutes of idle. Engine was on at the time. I also couldn't find any surfaces in the bay over 200F. Ambient temperature was mid 60s.
